What
They Say...
Students
What is one thing that improved (at school, home)
since becoming involved with the Seton Resource Center?
- My behavior and my thoughts.
- I can calm down.
- Me getting into mess.
- The way I handle bad situations.
- More family
time; no longer sad about anything; not scared about
anything; learned how to keep myself from getting too angry at
people.
- Science, social studies, English and computer.
- My attitude at home is respectful.
- I am more open with my family about everything.
- School. Because I can concentrate now.
- My grades went up.
- I change the way I talk to people and how I answer them.
- The rumors between the girls.
- I didn’t go, but I think I would learn something if I went.
- Everything.
Faculty and Administrators
- They go the extra mile.
- Keep up the good work.
- I wish we could have more than one social worker on campus
- Counseling has been a big help with anger management for
individual students.
- It gives the children another outlet to turn to when they are
not getting help elsewhere – someone else to talk to.
- The most beneficial aspects of the Seton service are on-site
counseling and availability of resources outside of campus. The family counseling helped one of my students tremendously.
- The presence of our counselor is reassuring to our students
because of her calm and caring demeanor.
- I wouldn’t change a thing!
